New song! — “Irish Goodbye”

Wrote a new song… this one’s called “Irish Goodbye”(when you leave don’t say goodbye). Was inspired a bit by Ingrid Michaelson and wrote this with just a bass line….

Listen to it here!

She always said she’s bound to leave
There’s somewhere else to see
She can’t sit still, she can’t decide
She never knows if she met the right guy

She must be lonely
She must get lonely

But you don’t ever have to say why
Just consider it an Irish goodbye
And just slip out the side
And consider it an Irish goodbye

He’s always picking up some girl
At a bar, in the world
But the girl he really wants
Isn’t here, and she haunts his nights

He must be lonely
He must get lonely

But you don’t ever have to say why
Just consider it an Irish goodbye
And just slip out the side
And consider it an Irish goodbye
But they don’t want to think
It isn’t them, it isn’t me
And if they can’t, find someone
They better find, another sun
To see tonight
And when it sets, they’ll believe
That there isn’t time, for them to see

They must be lonely
They must get lonely

But you don’t ever have to say why
Just consider it an Irish goodbye
And just slip out the side
And consider it an Irish goodbye
