Mystery on Houston Street

Over the years, I’ve come to love the corner of Houston and 1st Ave. There’s the weird shit that is sold by dudes on the street. There’s the ancient yet seemingly popular flavored ice cart man. The little Veselka outpost and concrete playground. But mostly, there’s the giant ads from American Apparel. Always something new and provocative and over the top with starving teenage models. But yet, this week… it’s disappeared!

What is happening?
