Behind the Times

Today, I realized what was wrong with how I’m approaching life. I need a sidekick.

I was in an audition today and this guy had a sidekick with him. Like, literally that’s what he called him. “Here’s Bob, he’s my sidekick.” Think of how much you’d get done, and how much you’d already outnumber people by virtue of your sidekick. And how much you’re almost already a superhero. Plus, it’s more empowering to say—this is my sidekick. Rather than my assistant, my personal shopper, my maid, whatever. Plus once you have a sidekick you can move on to acquiring other things. Like henchmen for example.
