A/C

Yesterday, I waited at home all day to have my old air conditioned replaced. But my ‘old’ a/c was really only a year old. So it was really kind of fruitless, the exchange. But they were doing the whole building. I was pretty mad about it but then felt fortunate as I noticed all the other old a/cs, which were indeed quite old. They looked like a/cs from the sixties. Things that were in our elementary school growing up. Which would have been the seventies but still.

Last night, the new a/c proved it can kick butt. But I miss the digital read-out of what temperature the themostat was set to, instead of the cold-to-hot knob I now have. I’m a boy and we love our toys.
